Jurgen Klopp’s side were dictating the pace of the game against PSG and in the end got an absolutely deserved 3-2 victory over the French champions. Taking into account the amount of the top-tier players on the pitch, the clash was filled with a lot of moments of individual brilliance from both teams’ representatives, however, there was a special one that drew all of the attention post-match.
The dynamic course of events in the first half led to a pretty specific situation on the pitch: Sadio Mane managed to get a miss-match taking on Neymar on the right wing near Les Parisiens’ box. The Senegalese kept a calm head, took his time, made a couple of fake moves and rapidly changed the direction of his movement sending the Brazilian to another dimension. The effort earned the 26-year-old the Skill of the Day award, as per the Champions League’s official Twitter account.
