Member of Parliament for the North Tongu in the Volta region, Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa has donated new desks to 5 different schools today, 6th March 2020.
He took to his social media handles to share photos of his benevolence.
Giving details of his donation, the MP wrote:
“Took advantage of the independence holiday to replace all old and weak furniture as I also provided extra furniture to cater for five of the fastest growing basic schools in Battor – the capital of my beloved constituency.
I expect my dear pupils to return to a more comfortable learning environment after today’s 6th March parade.
My furniture replacement and supply programme will continue to other parts of North Tongu.
Together and by our little contributions; we can all make our communities and our nation that exemplary Republic our forebears envisaged.
Happy Independence Day to you all.
