Former Barcelona star Samuel Eto’o has replied Didier Drogba and El-Hadji Diouf after they both claimed to be the greatest players in Africa so far.
Samuel Eto’o who can boast of having a successful football career, isn’t happy with Didier Drogba and El-Hadji Diouf for claiming to be better than he.
According to him, none of them come near him when it comes to being a soccer legend from Africa.
His comments come after El-Hadji Diouf of Senegal and the former Liverpool striker recently claimed that he is the greatest striker ever from Africa.
Most recently Chelsea and Ivory Coast legend Didier Drogba was mentioned in a Twitter debate against Eto’o and was rated high against his companion.
Speaking on the issue, Eto’o fired:
“‘Even if my brother Diouf the last time, with an extra glass, got a little lost, there is no debate. None of them [Diouf and Drogba] can come and say that they were at my level or better. And it’s not the fact that I say it, it’s a fact, it’s something that is there. I wanted to be number one and I’ve been throughout my career.”
Some people believe this argument won’t end anytime soon.
