On Monday, Sandra Oh attended the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth II (19 September).
The actor, who is well-known for her work on Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve, received an invitation to the service as a member of the Canadian delegation.
As a result of her “artistic career replete with noteworthy stage, television, and film appearances in Canada and abroad,” she is now a member of the Order of Canada.
Justin and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau served as the delegation’s leaders, and other members included former prime ministers and the governor-general, Mary Simon.
