Fans of Sarkodie, Sarknation, have won the ‘Fan Army of the Year’ award at the just-ended 3 Music awards 2020.
They were in tight competition with Shatta Movement (Shatta Wale fans), Bhim Nation(Stonebwoy fans), and Team Move (Kofi Kinaanata fans).
However, they emerged winners.
Shatta Movement has already won this particular award in the past two years – in 2018 and 2019.
This is the first time Sarknation has won the coveted plaque.
The 2020 edition of 3 Music Awards happened yesterday Saturday, 2nd May, 2020 at the Fantasy Dome at Trade fair.
Due to the ban on social gathering as a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus, the program was virtual.
Winners of the award came through with their acceptance speech live via the video conferencing app Zoom.
