There’s a viral video on social media that captures the moment a Taxi without a driver was driving it self in Hohoe, Volta Region.

The video is said to be taken after NPP supporters hit the streets to celebrate following the declaration of The Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu, as winner of the Hohoe parliamentary seat.

The car could be seen driving and turning, yet, there was no driver therein.

Netizens have concluded that this is another proof that the strongest of ‘juju powers’ are from the Volta Region.

In detailed related news, the Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu, has beat off stiff competition from the National Democratic Congress’ Prof Margaret Kwaku to annex the Hohoe parliamentary seat from the NDC.

He polled 26,952 votes representing 54.7% of total votes at the close of Monday’s parliamentary elections while his close contender Prof. Margaret Kwaku from the NDC garnered 21,821 votes.

Significantly, this represents a historic feat in the 4th Republic of Ghana where the governing NPP managed to win a parliamentary seat in the Volta Region, the NDC’s stronghold.

This means that Mr. Amewu would be the only NPP MP as the NDC maintained the rest of the 17 seats in the region.
