Senegal scientists are currently producing test kits and ventilators at the cheapest price for other African countries to aid them battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite the country’s low budget for health – Senegal – have recorded the highest recovery rate in Africa so far and the 3rd in the world thereby causing the world to keep taps on them.
The west African nation hopes to help fellow Africans with its easy-to-use technology in order to fight coronavirus without the need for expensive and less effective western ventilators and testing machines.
The test kits will be sold at $1 while the 3D Printed Ventilators goes for $60.
Earlier this year, questionable scientific modelling stated that tens of thousands of deaths in Africa due to the COVID-19, but this has not happened so far in the continent with more than 1.3 billion people.
Senegal’s move is a great hope for Africa.
