Sex workers give their lives to Christ after church invites them for dinner

A church in Zimbabwe invited some sixty-six sex workers for a dinner and the unimaginable happened as they all gave their lives to Christ.

The “Shining Stars Dinner” took place in Bulawayo during an evangelistic outreach organized by African Enterprise and The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe.

The team leader with African Enterprise, Guide Makore had this to say after the astonishing display of the Holy Spirit to convert these prostitutes:

“We are happy for the 66 women who turned up for the dinner to listen to the Gospel of God and for the 50 women who gave their lives to the Lord and Savior,” said Pastor Chris Nxumalo, who partnered with African Enterprise to put on the outreach event.

The outreach was aimed at providing residents “hope instead of despair” and “improvement of their moral state.”

“These ladies are angels, during the dinner, they were screaming ‘Hallelujah’ more than the regular church-goers.”

This particular church has been touching the lives of many and had made some positives strides in the community.

These new converts are expected to be nurtured in the Word of God and helped to grow into mature adults.

The church has promised to provide them with an alternative source of livelihood to complement their newly found life.
