President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed schools in the country to shut down until further notice. The order became effective from Monday, March 16, 2020.
The President gave the order when he addressed the nation on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
“All Universities, Senior High Schools, and basic schools, i.e. public and private schools, will be closed Monday, 16th March 2020, till further notice. The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication, has been tasked to roll out distance learning programmes,” he said.
For this reason, children are now with their parents at home full time.
Just after 4 days, musician and baby mama of Shatta Wale, Michy is feeling the heat of disturbances from her son, Majesty.
She said she’s giving her son a ‘home school’ and from her experience, she remarked that she has now realized that teachers are really trying.
“Day 4 of home school & all I can say is teachers are really trying”, she wrote on Instagram.
