African Dancehall King, Shatta Wale’s reign is not going down today or tomorrow as his name keeps getting bigger and bigger each passing day.
His latest feat is his appearance at New York Times Square.
Shatta Wale who was so excited sharing the piece of news took to his Instagram handle and wrote:
“#ShattaWaleOnTimeSquare NY, helooooo Shatta Movement where are you 😂 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Big ups to the team @Beatbopper @SeanKontractor We making history together w/ #TropicalHouseCruisesToJamaica reggae album compilation 🔥 #AllOut #Dream 🇬🇭🇯🇲 🤟🏻”
The Kakai hitmaker was featured there to promote the Tropical House Cruises To Jamaica album of which he is the headline artistes.
Someone may be asking why is this a big deal? It is indeed a very big deal because it cost a lot to get featured thereon on the big screens at Times Square.
More so, this place is one of the most populated areas in America that attracts a lot of tourists, hence, you featuring thereon is a big deal as it promotes your brand to the whole world.
Shatta Wale is the first Ghanaian musician to get featured at the New York Times Square (this fact is not confirmed anyway). Nonetheless, it will interest you to know that winner of TV3 Talented Kidz, DJ Switch, was once featured thereon.
However, we know that the likes of Davido, Tiwa Savage, among other African Musicians have had the benefit of tasting the glory of being featured at Times Square.
