Shatta Wale should give us collaborations. I am tired of hearing his voice alone – Shatta Fan

A Shatta Wale fan has cried out on Facebook that he’s tired of hearing the voice of the dancehall musician alone on songs.

Yao as the fan is simply identified said the African Dancehall King should give them collaborations.

The honest fan noted that he’s tired of listening to songs that has only Shatta Wale on it.

“Shatta Wale should give us collaborations. I am tired of hearing his voice alone. We need something new. Can’t he observe personally the fans are tired of listening to his one man songs?”

Other Shatta fans in his list agreed saying he’s very right. Others also pointed out that the people around Shatta Wale aren’t helping him.

Personally a few days ago, I shared my opinion on why Shatta Wale for that matter Ghanaian musicians at large need to travel to other countries such as Nigeria in other to widen his market.

In my opinion, I wrote:

So what’s wrong if Shatta Wale also travels to Nigeria and link up with musicians there?

Davido has taken over Africa simply because he has made other African countries his second home.

He just feels like spending his weekend in Accra Ghana and he’s all over the news — winning more fans. Do you know Davido is more popular than even some Ghanaian musicians in Ghana?

I feel most Ghanaian A-list artistes feel they’re big so they always expect people to approach them and not the other way round.

Davido collaborated with Medikal, Kuami Eugene even though he’s bigger than them. He made the approach. Kuami and Medikal didn’t have to travel to Naija to record the song he came down for them. So why won’t Davido get bigger and bigger each year?

Our musicians feel too comfortable. Shatta Wale has achieved a lot of great things. No doubt! But there’s more he can do. I feel he hasn’t reached the point where he should relax and say ‘I’ve reached’

I personally feel that there’re brands in Naija such as Naira Marley, Zlatan, just to mention a few that matches Shatta’s brand so why can’t he make move on them? Should they always be the people coming to us?

For all you know, some of these musicians want to do songs with our musicians but they’re feeling too big to open their arms.

And to the fans too, we always insult our musicians when they make moves saying they’re doing ‘self put put’. You people must clean your myopic minds and encourage your fav musicians to do moves.

Enough of the flaunting of new houses and cars (most of which are even audio).

We as fans wanna be proud of our local musicians. We want them to win the Grammys. Make big monies, among other things.
