Skid Row have made one other singer swap, as revealed with the premiere of a brand new track from their upcoming album The Gang’s All Right here, earlier immediately on Eddie Trunk’s Trunk Nation SiriusXM present. Having spent the previous few years with former DragonForce frontman ZP Theart dealing with vocals, the band is transferring on with Erik Gronwall, previously of the band H.E.A.T., taking the lead.
A snippet of the album title monitor may be heard within the teaser for Trunk’s present under. The album will arrive on Oct. 14 through earMusic, whereas the primary single/title monitor will formally be launched on Friday (March 25).
The band in a press release (as reported by BraveWords), “It is a new period for Skid Row. With a brand new album, a brand new single and a world tour, we have added a brand new voice. Welcome powerhouse vocalist Erik Grönwall, previously from the band H.E.A.T. from Sweden.”
Grönwall added, “Girls and gents. I hereby declare the circle of all fucking circles full. You’re trying on the new singer of @officialskidrow #skidrow #erikgronwall”
Theart joined the band in 2016, having adopted earlier vocalist Tony Harnell, however the band didn’t launch any new recorded music throughout his time with the group.
Skid Row have been via a collection of vocalists since their cut up with Sebastian Bach in 1996. Johnny Solinger had the longest run, taking on vocal duties once they reactivated in 1999. He remained within the function till 2015 when Harnell took over. Solinger handed away in June 2021 after battling liver failure.
