Ghanaian US-Based Gospel musician and Pastor, Dr. Sonnie Badu has suggested to the Ghana Football Association that they must do well to celebrate our soccer heroes in a special way.
In an Instagram post today, he pointed out that soccer heroes such as Stephen Appiah, Abedi Pele, Anthony Yeboah deserve to be celebrated.
The ‘Baba’ hitmaker said a museum or something of that sort should be created for them. Sonnie added that this will greatly motivate future generations.
He said this while wishing Abedi Ayew Pele a happy birthday — as today November 5th marks his 56th birthday.
In his words, he wrote: “@ghana_fa_official I think it is time to celebrate our soccer heros. I mean, can we create a museum and have their status in there or something? From ABEDI PELE, to ANTHONY YEBOAH to STEVEN APPIAH etc, this will greatly motivate the next generation. Like Argentina has done for MARADONA and Brazil for PELE … ABEDI has also gave back 3 stars @andreayew10 @jordanayew9 @rahimayew_official To my all time soccer hero, ABEDI Pele, it’s a big happy birthday to you …
