Their marriage has been welcomed with mixed reactions especially with the sour history of Xandy Kamel who is known to have stripped herself naked on live radio and television.
However, King Kaninja believes Xandy deserves the love and care a man gives and he also found her loving and complementing and decided to walk down the aisle with her.
Kaninja said he wasn’t perturbed with the rumours and allegations surrounding his wife at the time he decided to marry her. He added that he is not as hypocritical as people who point accusing fingers at others because they feel they are innocent about their deeds.
“I never needed a perfect person but I believe in transition and someone who is ready to learn and change. She also needed someone who will have time for her and I wanted someone who will understand me so automatically we all came on the same page,” he said in an interview with Zionfelix.
