While the issue of Achimota School refusing to admit a dreadlocks student continues, another Second cycle school Saint Peter’s School has also said the school will not admit student with dreadlocks even if it’s their religion.

The headmaster of the school has said of a Rastafarian dares try come to the school, the school has set up a barbering salon to cut off student will come to school with locks.

According to reports, the headmaster of the school has even set up a barbering salon to make sure students’ non-approved hairstyles “are converted into clean shaven student haircuts”.

However, some old student of the Eastern Region based school has condemned the act saying, it’s against the fundamental human rights of pupils.

They are however calling on the school management to admit students regardless of their hairstyles.
