Jobs, along with his early business partner and fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, is generally regarded as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. Jobs was born and adopted in San Francisco, California.

Born on 24 February 1955, Steve Jobs’s age was 56 years at the time of his death. He was born and brought up in a middle-class Zen Buddhist family from San Fransisco, California, the United States. He was an American by nationality and believed in the Zen Buddhist religion.
He completed his early education at the Monta Loma Elementary School, Cupertino Junior High School, and later at the Homestead High School in California, United States.
He later enrolled himself at De Anza College, and Reed College in California, the United States from where he completed his higher education. From the very beginning of his childhood, he had to work hard and was more interested in studies and innovation rather than in other co-curricular activities.
