Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste Stonebwoy lifted high the flag of Ghana as he won an award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held in Jamaica with DJ Switch and Fancy Gadam also winning separate awards.
At this year’s 38th edition of the IRWAMA, Stonebwoy emerged winner of the Best African Dancehall Entertainer category.
Fancy Gadam who calls himself the Pride of the North equally emerged winner of the Best Afrobeat Entertainer category at the same event.
Stonebwoy took to Twitter to announce his second winning at the IRAWMA although he has received numerous nominations over the years.
Stonebwoy was able to beat competition from Shatta Wale and Burna Boy.
Ghana’s young and budding super talented disc jockey, DJ Switch also emerged winner of the Best Young Entertainer category on the night.
