“Stonebwoy is from Africa but he does the authentic dancehall” Sean Paul

Award-winning Jamaican dancehall singer, Sean Paul has praised Ghanaian dancehall icon, Stonebwoy in a recent interview.

Speaking on what he loves about the singer affectionately called 1 Gad, Sean Dutty Paul remarked that he loves the fact that he (Stonebwoy) travels all the way down to Jamaica just to produce his songs.

“Big ups to Stonebwoy, he’s the only side person not from Jamaica that I’m gonna feature on the album… I read about him too. I really respect the fact that he travels to Jamaica to pay respect to the origin of Dancehall. Other people do dancehall but they don’t pay respect and they don’t come over to produce in Jamaica but he (Stonebwoy) comes over to produce his songs.”, he said.

“He knows that what we have developed here over the years is really authentic…he comes from Africa…but he comes through and I really respect that”, he added.
