Ghanaian Afro-dancehall artistes and seasoned rapper Stonebwoy and M.anifest will be sharing the same stage with other African acts at this year’s MTV Africa Day Benefit Concert.
The MTV Africa Day Benefit Concert is organized on the 25th of May of every year to commemorate the birth of the African Union (AU).
This year’s event will be purposely held to raise funds to fight the deadly Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) which has become a global pandemic and wreaking havoc.
Other artistes to perform alongside Ghana’s Stonebwoy and M.anifest include Burna Boy, Sauti Sol, Sho Madjozi, Yemi Alade, Teni, Seun Kuti, AKA and many others.
The event will be streamed live from the personal abodes of these entertainers due to COVID-19 safety protocols.
The event will be hosted by musician and actor Idris Elba.
