Stonebwoy has launched an entrepreneurship skills development training programme to provide life skills to hundreds of youth who for one reason or the other are unemployed in Ashaiman and its environs free of charge.
The maiden edition of the ‘BHIM Skills’ came off as expected where participants were trained to have entrepreneurial skills to support their lives and improve their conditions of living.
According to the BHIM Nation president, the BHIM Skills is an initiative to combat the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on most families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Therefore, he decided to put up this laudable idea to provide entrepreneurial skills to the youth most especially so they are not compelled to engage in all social vices as a result of not having anything to do with their hands.
Participants of the first edition of the “BHIM SKILLS” training workshop were equipped with the needed skill set to pursue careers in various fields like cosmetic production, agro-food processing, fashion designing, production of household cleaning products, aluminium works, epoxy flooring and many more.
The “BHIM SKILLS” training workshop which will be replicated across most regions in the country was powered by the Livingstone Foundation (the charity wing of Burniton Music), The BHIM Shop and Unity Link.
