 Strike: We?ve met all your demands - Federal govt tackles ASUU

The Federal Authorities has reacted to the choice of the Tutorial Workers Union of College ASUU to increase its strike motion by 2 months.

The union in a communique launched at present introduced the extension of the one-month warning strike it began on February 14. The union hinged its choice for the extension of the strike on the failure of the Federal authorities to fulfill its demand.

Reacting to this choice, the Minister of State for Schooling, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, whereas talking to newsmen on the finish of the commemoration of the 2022 Commonwealth Celebration in Abuja on Monday, March 14, mentioned the federal government has met all of the wants of ASUU.

Nwajiuba added that every one earned allowances, in addition to revitalization funds, had been launched.

“ASUU introduced and we met and all the pieces that they’ve demanded, we’ve got performed all of them together with the earned allowances and the revitalisation fund; they select to increase it for 2 months could also be,” he mentioned.
