Sports Journalist Saddick Adams has taken to his Facebook page to ‘expose’ that Tamale Sports stadium which was renamed to Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, in honour of the late Aliu Mahama, the former Vice President as part of the fifth-anniversary celebration of his passing is being left to rot.

Saddict remarked that this is coming a year after a whooping sum of GHC300,000 was spent to rehabilitate the sporting grounds.

Sharing a couple of photos, the renowned sports journalist noted that the grass on the pitch which is supposed to be green has turned pale.

And the sad part is people in charge of it may never be questioned because they’re political appointees.

Then left it rot like this. Unfortunately people in charge of it may never be questioned bcos they’re political appointees. This is supposed to be green pitch for football. Sad”
