Teni obtained her Business Administration Degree at American Intercontinental University after she completed Apata Memorial High School.
Teni’s was formerly signed to “Shizzi’s Magic Fingers Records, where she released her debut single “Amen”. She left Shizzi’s record label and was signed to Dr. Dolor Entertainment in 2017.
She gained her popularity after releasing the single ” Fargin” in September 2017. After releasing hit singles, “Askamaya”, “Case” and “Uyo Meyo”, the singer made her breakthrough in the industry.
She released her debut E. P, Billionaire on 11 October, 2019. Teni patnered with DJ Neptune, Nigerian disk jockey, to release an EP called Quarantine Playlist which sees her talking about the strains of being in quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Teni revealed the name and expected date of her forthcoming debut album on February 2, 2021.

She posted a video on her instagram story with the caption Can’t keep thi no more” and this post made her fans wonder whether she is married or its just a shoot.
