Ghanaian award-winning journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni, has said that according to the rules and regulations, all campaign activities towards the December 7th elections ended yesterday so no candidate should break the law by campaigning under the guise of addressing the nation.
His nation is coming after the circulation of banners that President Nana Akufo-Addo would address the nation ahead of the 2020 elections.
Manneseh feels Nana Addo’s so-called address is a strategy to once again campaign for votes and this is not right.
“The campaign ended yesterday. No candidate should break the law by campaigning under the guise of addressing the nation.”, he wrote.
In another post, Manasseh stated again: “The EC will address the nation tonight. And we know how to vote tomorrow. Mr. President, please, obey the laws of our land!”
