Over some time, Ghanaians have been hit with a massive demand by a few divisions of the Volta Region who are demanding independence from Ghana.

The group is championing the secession of parts of Ghana along the border with Togo, to be declared independence for the territory they call ‘Western Togoland’.

It is unclear why they are really fighting hard for that in recent time.

Many are blaming it on the ruling NPP’s inability to allocate funds for the bad roads in the Volta Region in their recent budget.

Celebrities Buzz has noticed one of the greatest assets that Ghana can lose should the Western Togoland deal go through.

We all know for a fact that Aflao Border is one of the greatest revenue-generating body for Ghana.

Ghana will risk millions of cedis that come through as a form of export and import duties should the Western Togoland come to stay.

Meanwhile, the leaders of Western Togoland held their first-ever cabinet meeting.
