The most loyal people in any kind of situation, suffer the worst disappointments

Have you ever been so loyal and fanatic about a person or situation until you were disappointed?

Have you ever defended someone solidly only for you to be let down by this same person and for you to realize that you were just fooling yourself?

Have you ever loved someone so much that you never thought you could be disappointed by them, but it did happen?

Then, you can be described as a loyal person. A person who is committed to a cause and will never stand anywhere to downgrade the thing or person.

That is loyalty. Loyalty is a great virtue when you exercise it towards a good cause but if you ever suffer disappointment, it is the worst.

Let us take a relationship where the lady is so loyal to the man, as a case study.

This innocent lady believes this is the only man he has and makes sure she does everything possible to ensure his happiness.

This lady always defends her in front of friends and family and never discloses their arguments or quarrels to a third party.

In critical moments, the lady supports him with her money and sometimes pays for his bills or rents because for this lady, she is being loyal.

Only for her to visit this man on a hot afternoon and find her in bed with a lady she knows as a friend. Loyalty is broken.

This is the kind of picture I want to paint to you so you understand how depressing and mentally-draining it is for your loyalty to be exchanged for disappointments and letdowns.

We are all loyal to one thing, person or the other. Most men are loyal to their football clubs while most ladies are loyal to their friends. Others are loyal to their political parties or their religious affiliations.

Be mindful of the fact that you can be disappointed at any given time by these people or things. If you have this at the back of your mind, it prepares you to absorb shocks when it comes although it does not take away the pain entirely.

When loyalty is broken in relationships or marriages, it takes Heaven for it to be built. It demands hard work and a strong will power to rebuild one’s integrity.

Never be the reason why someone will lament or be in pain because you broke their loyalty and when you happen to be a victim, accept it and move on.

Remember, there are always good people out there who are ready to protect and respect your loyalty no matter the situation.
