There’s no joy in seeing a man who gives you breakfast in bed and still cheats on you

Men are now faced with the burden to live a modern-day definition of who an ideal man is.

There’s this craziness of a man being romantic and the criteria and expectations to live it out are mind-blowing.

I heard a lady once said she purposely initiate a fight because she wants her man to pet her, she wants to be pet, funny but true.

There are ladies who purposely act childish because they have been made to believe that a man should pet them, hence they behave weird, funny or childish just to get some “petting” from their man.

There are women who just initiate a fight or quarrel so they can get a romantic text or flowers or a romantic breakfast from their man saying “sorry” failure to do any of this, you’re termed ” not romantic”

A man should open the car door for you, a man should be able to pull the chair for you to sit down, a man should serve you breakfast on the bed…a man should wash your underwear, a man should do this, a man should do that….the list is long

A woman deserves to be pampered, she deserved to be pet, she deserved not to go through any stress, she’s supposed to be carried like an egg, nothing should touch her, she’s like an egg, an Apple, she’s a pearl, a diamond….the list is unending…

Most times ladies don’t care about a man’s standing with God, if he reverences God or not, his dealings with people don’t bother them, how he treats people don’t bother them, his moral standing isn’t a concern to them anymore.

I’m not saying women are not to be treated right, I think we are going overboard on this with our expectations.

With all these expectations, a man should also provide, protect, take care of the family financial needs.

The expectation most ladies have about an ideal and a romantic man is becoming crazy.

This is the deal.

There are higher things to consider, an ideal man to me must be defined based on the word of God not on petty things like opening of doors, pulling a chair, serving breakfast on bed, I’m not against these things but there are higher things to consider

A man who loves his wife just as Christ loves the church, a man who can provide and take care of his family wholely, this is who an ideal man is.

Don’t concentrate on the minor things and miss the major things, there’s no joy in seeing a man who gives you breakfast in bed and still cheats on you, there’s no happiness living with a man who pulls out the chair for you to sit on and still abuses you…there’s more to consider.
