Ghanaian Dancehall legend, Samini has reacted to the sad demise of Cape coast based fast rising Dancehall artist, Unruly Grank who was stabbed to death yesterday.
According to a saddened Samini, there’s too much violence associated to the genre in Africa, something everyone has to take responsibility for due to the perceptions being put out there about how Dancehall artist behave.
He believes that violent mentality that Dancehall is not clean has to be stopped if the industry really want to avoid this kind of sad incidents in the future.
“Sad news I’m hearing about a stabbing incident in cape coast resulting in a young dancehall artist’s sudden death.. RIP to de yout #UnrulyGrank ..The violence in the African dancehall must STOP. We are all responsible for the way our next generation are behave. ???” Samini stated in a tweet.
