A video went viral yesterday which sees a mate and his driver landing some Chinese Kungfu fighting skills on a Police man.

According to her, it is very wrong for the driver and mate to beat an officer of the law.
She wrote:
“This is Wrong,so fucking wrong…No matter what the police did you dnt attack a policeman in uniform…where is this country heading to??? I guess the police administration will write to these people also and caution them to be mindful of their actions. Dear God save our country…save us from this epidemic of lawlessness n corrupt leaders. Good Morning”

It was a dramatic scene last Thursday at Weija in Accra, when a trotro (commercial bus) driver and his conductor [mate], decided to violently resist a police arrest with fisticuffs.
According to a police situational report (sitrep) on Thursday, March 14 at Weija, the trotro’ driver reportedly stopped in the middle of the road to wait for some passengers who were at the other side of the road.
His action was said to have caused heavy traffic on the road and in the process, a motorbike ran into the rear of a private car.
A police officer who was around the area upon noticing the development went there to help.
But in the process, the driver nearly hit the police officer with the vehicle and sped off, according to the police account of events.
The police officer took a motorbike, chased and crossed the driver causing him to stop. He then requested that the driver and his mate accompany him to the station.
But the driver and his mate will have none of that. Together, they launched an attack, beating the officer to the surprise of other motorists and passengers.
After the confrontation, the police officer sat in the vehicle and radioed control for assistance.
The driver and his mate abandoned the vehicle and left. The police managed to tow the vehicle to the Odorkor police station.
