It’s been almost six(6) days now that young and vibrant lives had been cut short just because they showed patriotism and concern for their country.It was an unpleasant situation that isn’t easy to be forgotten.
Hero’s they say are honoured,but these gone souls were not given the maximum respect for their loyalty leaving a lot angered by the new turn of events.
Some of the leaders in Nigeria looked over the incident like it wasn’t necessary whilst others even doubted there was any death despite lot’s of evidences were available for proves.
Davido, a Nigerian based music god seems not to have forgotten these brutalities and keeps on talking about what happened on the 20th October,2020.
In his latest tweet,he said…
“It’s painful that what started as a peaceful protest has been hijacked and turned into a complete anarchy,in total disrespect to those who lost their lives during the peaceful protest.This is definitely not the way to honour those that lost their lives while protesting peacefully.”
It’s however a sad situation and all are hoping, something would be done about it.
