As earlier indicated by Celebrities Buzz that Legendary Ghanaian musician, Tic Tac now Tic plans to sue Wizkid over some copyright infringement on his song, comes the actual attestation from the camp of the artist.

Tic in collaboration with veteran Nigerian Singer, Tony Tetuila has slapped Wizkid with $82,000 Lawsuit.

Singer, Wizkid is being sued jointly by Tony Tetuila and Tic, over copyright infringement on their ‘Fefe Ne Efe’ hit song released years back.

According to the plaintiffs, Wizkid had sampled their song ‘Fefe Ne Efe’ released in 2004 but failed to pay for it.According to Tic, Wizkid sampled the chorus of ‘Fefe Ne Efe’ for his verse on DJ Tunez’s song titled ‘Gbese’.

In a writ addressed to the defendant, Tic and Tony Tetuila are seeking damages to the tune of Ghc473,379.29 ($82,758.62).

They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song.

The plaintiffs have promised to do everything beyond their possible best to ensure that they are able to take what is due to them.

Their suit comes even after Wizkid recently praised Tic for being very phenomenal in his career as an artist.
