Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress, Tiwatope Savage, known professionally as Tiwa Savage seems to have run out of patience concerning the unstable nature of Nigeria’s power supply.

Nigeria has been battling with acute power supply for over ten years now and the country appears not to be making headway out of this problem. The same problem persists in Kenya and South Africa.

According to independent research and concerns from Nigerians on social media, one can not be guaranteed of a 24-hour power supply in Nigeria.

This frustration has led Tiwa Savage to Twitter to bear her teeth out to authorities to do something about the deteriorating situation which has become so severe that every household in Nigeria owns a generator or two.

Consequentially, Nigeria’s economy has been severely hit since the current situation repels investors from investing in the ‘generator republic.’

Many Nigerians praise Ghana for her ability to come out of the frequent power outages popularly known as ‘Dumsor’ which plagued the country for a long time.

According to Tiwa Savage, she does not understand why Nigeria is still battling with unstable power supply in 2020.

She wrote:
