Todd Palin was born on September 6, 1964. Palin was born in Dillingham, Alaska, and was raised there by James F. “Jim” and Blanche Palin. Palin comes from Yup’ik, English, and Dutch heritage (from a great-grandmother). Wasilla High School is where Palin received his high school diploma in 1982, together with his wife and their two eldest children, son Track and daughter Bristol.
Despite taking some college courses, he never graduated. Palin first registered to vote in 1989. He was registered to vote for the Alaskan Independence Party from October 1995 to July 2002, except for a few months in 2000.
According to The Politico, Palin was an undeclared independent voter as of the end of August 2008 and had never registered as a Republican. He is not registered with any political party, according to his wife Sarah, who made the claim in her 2009 biography Going Rogue: An American Life and during a Q&A session that followed an address she made at the 2010 national Tea Party convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Palin held the position of first gentleman, or “first dude,” as he was sometimes called, from 2006 to 2009.
