Twins Don’t Beg are known in real life as Samuel Appiah Gyan and Emmanuel Appiah Gyan say they were born to do photography.

It was Samuel that met Dangote.

Born on Monday April 3, 1989 in Kumasi, they studied Agriculture with a major in Post-Harvest Technology and Landscape Management and Architecture, respectively at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana.

Sammy and Emma winners of Best nightlife Photographers of the year at the Ghana Nightlife Awards are currently the official cinematographers of the President of the Republic of Ghana and the social media handlers for Mrs Samira Bawumia, the wife of the Vice President of Ghana.

The duo has worked with high profile personalities, celebrities and events including the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo, Becca, Akosua Vee, Efya, DKB, the Ghana Music Awards 2017, Ghana Meets Naija and Miss Malaika 2017 pageant.

Samuel’s favourite phrase is “One should work hard and stop begging because begging is a sin” and Emmanuel’s is “It’s about time we stop begging people for opportunities and start creating our own”.

These sayings according to them came from their struggle as musicians through to their new love, photography.
