Tribute by Father (example 1)

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalm 73:26)

My son Venus Egbedzi, you were an amazing child to me and a wonderful brother to your siblings. Many were the things you did but one exceptional thing about you I will never forget as a father was the fact that, you did save me from a problem I got myself into.

I was released from that trouble because of you when someone made a statement that, “I will release you for the sake of your three year little son Venus who has come to beg me”. This statement, I will never forget. You have been a hardworking and respectful child when you returned home from Accra after your SHS education.

You have been of assistance to us in many ways till you complained of being ill, and we did our best as a family to keep you alive but the will of God prevailed. The love of a father can only be realized when you become a father and I was looking forward to seeing that before your demise.

Today as I bid you fare well, I wish to submit that, my love for you hasn’t change. May your maker accept and grant you a comfortable place. May God make you one of his Army Commanders to conquer satanic forces in the world. I really miss you my son and I pray these words of the Lord come to pass.

Venus! Dzudzor le nutifafa me!!!
