Our brother Venus Kwaku Nuworza Egbedzi was a gift unto us. He led all his life being humble and respectful, he always behaved in a unique way that was imprinted on our brains and can never truly go away. From childhood till his demise, Venus our brother had been living in harmony with us. Because he was our last born, we all played a collective role in his upbringing. Our expectation of him becoming a great person was so high that, we all teamed up in pushing him up. We can’t forget the efforts on the part of our elderly ones especially Sister Promise Egbedzi who assumed fully the position as his mother.

Sister Promise Egbedzi brought Venus to Accra to continue his primary education from class four (4) till he completed Sogakofe Senior High School in this year June, 2019.

When Venus returned home (Abutia Togbave) after his SHS education, we can’t also forget the role of our Sister Believe Egbedzi in his life before his ill health. When Venus was sick, we all played significant roles such as fasting and prayers, financial and physical care even beyond our limit to save his life. We actually did our best as a loving family, but the least we expected however happened to us.

AWW Venus our brother, your loss is like a missing piece in the game of life, if nothing at all, a little bit of your behavior will always remain in us. It was just unfortunate you have not become the Soldier in life as you wished. We love you so much but we believe your Maker wanted you to be an Army Officer in heaven to fight attackers of innocent and God fearing ones on the earth.

When you were born, you became our brother, now that you have departed from us, we pray you become our guardian angel in Christ Jesus. May the good Lord forgive, accept and grant you a perfect place in his kingdom till we meet some day.
