This year, AKA (South Africa), Aya Nakamura (France), Burna Boy (Nigeria), Dave (U.K.), Dosseh (France), Giggs (U.K.) and Mr Eazi (Nigeria) were the musicians nominated in this category.
Not a single Ghanaian artiste was given the nod.
Well, some Ghanaian social media folks especially BHIM Fans are mocking Shatta Wale for missing out from the nominations.
This is because, earlier this year, Shatta Wale took to his Twitter handle to brag that BET has contacted him. So it’s quite surprising that he didn’t get nominations as we expected.
As it stands, one ardent BHIM Fan, Fredie Mawuli, has mocked Shatta Wale that he can be able to buy 11 local awards (3Music Awards) but he can never buy an international awards scheme like BET Awards.

???”, he wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale was presented with all his 11 awards plaque from organizers of 3Music Awards.
