Until government shows coronavirus patients and dead bodies on TV, we will not believe..Bukom Banku

Speaking with ace Journalist and businesswoman Nana Aba Anamoah in a short video prior to the virtual concert on GHone, the Boxer cum musician said he does not believe the deadly disease is in Ghana.

When Nana Aba tried to draw his attention to the number of cases and deaths we have recorded so far, Bukom Banku questioned Nana Aba if she has seen anyone who died from the virus in Ghana with her eyes and stated that, he won’t believe until the claims are backed with proper evidence.

According to him, Italy, China and all other countries with the outbreak shows their cases on TV for everyone to see. “China people, they no show? Italy people they are dying they no show? they show everybody. I want Ghana people they show. we Bukom we no believe nothing”.. He said in pidgin.

He however disclosed that he takes safety precautions, just that he does not believe the disease is in the country. “no disease, no disease, Bukom side disease no come there” he said in response to Nana Aba’s insistence that the virus is real.

Regardless of his claims, the boxer took the advice of Nana Aba to educate the people around his community where he has more influence. Watch the video below.
