Ghana Police has given an update on the recent Western Togoland attack.
According to their latest report, Fifty-nine (59) suspects including two females have been remanded by Court since the attack on Friday 25th September 2020.
In a related development, Police on 5th October 2020, arrested one Bessah Kpexor Israel, who was already on the wanted list of the Police, for attacking the Aveyime Police Station.
He was arrested at Adzasika near Mafi Kumase in the Volta Region. The suspect led Police to a bush where he dug out firearms and ammunition he had buried in the grounds and handed same to Police. These included Police owned firearms and ammunition.
