Ghanaian media consultant – Vim Lady has blasted the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for suspending its Central Regional Chairman, Bernard Allotey Jacobs.

Their motive for the disciplinary action was because Bernard Allotey Jacobs is alleged to be taking some anti-party moves.

They claim he constantly criticizes his own party folks on Peace FM – a station he is a regular panellist on.

Speaking on the saga, Vim Lady blasted the NDC saying this isn’t the time to divide themselves.

She stated that a similar thing happened among the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2008 and it caused them more harm than good.

Vim further said it would have been best for party leaders to call Allotey Jacobs behind the scenes and caution him instead of denting themselves and making the NPP rejoice over them.

Allotey Jacobs has spoken about his suspension in an interview on Joy FM.

He said:

“A political party is a voluntary organization that is spearheaded by a group of people whom we elect to office to steer the affairs of the party, its voluntary, so if they have met and have decided that they are going to suspend me that is beautiful I have nothing to say, but that will not stop me from going to radio programmes and standing up for the truth; when it is good I will say it when it is bad I will say it”.
