Video proves that Adom Otchere’s attack on Zanetor is borne out of his bad blood with former President JJ Rawlings

Member of Parliament (MP) for Korle Klottey, Zanetor Rawlings recently came out to cry out how out the NPP Government was sharing food to the vulnerable bases on party lines.

Mrs. Zanetor alleged that people are asked to provide their party identity cards before they are given food.

Well, Host of Good Evening Ghana show on Metro TV, Paul Adom Otchere on his recent TV Show brutally attacked Zanetor for what she said.

“Let it get into your system Dr Rawlings, you come from a privileged home…behave properly, stop misbehaving…,” he said.

He continued:

“You’re a daughter of the former President. All of would have been happy to be the daughter of JJ Rawlings, I believe…this is the person that you’re emulating in politics and you come make statements that are unsubstantiated? With this huge background that you have, is that the kind of politics that you’ve turned into? We sincerely hope that this was just a blip and it would never happen again.”

Paul explained that if Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings had read through her prepared comments for the second time before addressing the media, she would have behaved in a manner worthy of a parliamentarian.

“Oko Vanderpuije spoke to the minister before he spoke to the press, did you do any such thing in your Klottey-Korley constituency?” the TV broadcaster quizzed.

“…Are you learning something that as an honourable member of parliament, before you speak to the press, you must confront the allegation with the authority…you confront the allegation because you have position…you have power, you have an influence…you are an elected member of parliament, you ought to be listened to by the authorities,” Adom-Otchere said.

He therefore advised the MP to learn to be responsible in her comments on matters of public interest.

Well, everyone is surprised with how bitterly Adom Otchere attacked Zanetor.

In the words of Former President, Jerry John Rawlings, Mr. Adom-Otchere “wakes up every day to speak nonsense”.

“That small boy called Adom-Otchere or something wakes up every day to speak nonsense,” he said.

Addressing a durbar to climax the 38th anniversary of the 31st December Coup D’etat at the Winneba Lorry Park on Tuesday, Mr Rawlings indicated that he will one day take his time to show the differences between private capital or capitalism and socialism.
