A Cambodian Villager uses Scarecrows to scare away Covid-19 from affecting she and her family.
Ek Chan has avoided the Global Pandemic without the use of Mask or observing any Protocols and she claim the presence of Scarecrows in her house is the reason she is free from the virus.
Chan has two scarecrows, a male and female she named “Ting Mong” which were place just at the gate to guard her house. The practice according to her existed over a century in some villages and they trust their ability to scare away evil spirits and diseases.
According to the Independent, she said “Since l made these Ting Mongs, they helped to scare away any Virus Including the Corona Virus and stop it from spreading to my family”
As the world is worried about the deadly Virus, Chan Trust her scarecrows to do the magic as she isn’t worried about getting the virus. “I myself believes in the magic of the scarecrows and l don’t worry about catching the virus at all” Chan revealed.
