Diamond, also known as Lynette Hardaway, was a conservative commentator who formed one half of the entertainment pair Diamond and Silk, which was supportive of Donald Trump. Hardaway passed tragically at the age of 51.

Together with her sister Rochelle Richardson, Hardaway rose to prominence in 2016 thanks to the political commentary films that they posted online. They were both lifelong Democrats, but they recently changed their party affiliation to support Trump for president, which caught the attention of Trump and other prominent Republicans.

On Monday, the news of Hardaway’s passing was shared on both of their respective social media profiles. Additionally, President Trump expressed his condolences for Hardaway’s passing in a post on Truth Social, writing that Hardaway’s passing was “really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL America.”

Diamond and Silk were not vaccinated. The two sisters, both staunch opponents of the COVID-19 vaccination, lost their jobs at Fox News a few years ago after the network accused them of spreading false information regarding the coronavirus and its vaccines.
