Accused of rape is the former owner of a French modelling agency, Gérald Marie. In February 2021, investigators invited the eleven women who had accused former French model agency owner Gerald Marie of rape and sexual misconduct to a meeting in Paris.
Model and actress Carré Otis from the United States accused Gerald Marie of raping her when she was 17 years old and filed a complaint against him in July 2021. Otis filed a lawsuit in August 2021, alleging that Gérald Marie had sexually assaulted her at his Paris apartment when she was just 17 years old.
Linda Evangelista, a Canadian fashion model, said she had no knowledge of the alleged attempted rapes during her relationship with Marie, but she believes the women who have come forward are telling the truth and applaud their bravery.
He was one of fashion’s most powerful men and the president of Elite Model Management’s European division.
