Legendary Amandzeba Nat Brew has bitterly complained of how Ghanaians build stars of other countries other than their own.
Speaking on Kasapa Fm, Nat Brew said Ghanaians always support artists from other countries more than our very own and further stated that it is extra worse for veterans sighting himself as an example.
“We build stars of other countries other than our own. If you happen to have grown grey hair like mine, you’re being forced to retire,” he told Eddie Ray on Kasapa Entertainment.
He stressed that he is being forced to retire.
In addition, the Legendary Hi-life artiste said he once traveled to perform at Cote d’Ivoire with his friend Agya Koo Nimo and he was amazed at how they loved them and found interest in the genre.
“Agya Koo Nimo and I performed at Cote D’ Ivoire and it was so interesting how highlife music lovers from other countries love our indigenous music other than ourselves.
“I don’t worry so much if Ghanaians don’t regard or hail me but I know we can do something with Ghanaian music.” he said.
