The Nigerian sports ministry has revealed the budget they will need to secure before cutting grasses at the Abuja sports stadium.
According to Nigeria Sahara Reporters, the minister Mr. Sunday Dare made the revelations during a seminar organized by the country’s sports Writers Association.
He added that, the ministry is seeking to partner a private firm due to lack of fund from the government
“We approach AEPB to see what can be done to clear the grass, they told us It would cost N81 million. If we tell Nigerians we use that amount of money, there will be an outcry in the country. The funds are not there for us, that is why we are partnering with private investors to get the job done” Dare said
