Ghanaian Actor cum Politician, who lost his quest to represent the People of Ayawaso west in the recent past election has stated the reasons why it is necessary to shift from old age farming to a modern agriculture.
The Gentleman explained that the continents population is expected to increase four times the current number in the 21st Century and this is a clear indication that demand for food and land is aswell going to increase.
“Africa’s population is expected to quadruple in the 21st century and this will create demand for increased agricultural land to meet food demand”. Mr. Dumelo stated
He is therefore advising the country to lead the way but that can never be achieved if we still stick to our old method of using hoe and cutlass only for farm projects.
