Wendy Shay and her management RuffTown Records led by Bullet have paid a courtesy call on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to have a conversation on the possible lifting of the ban on Ghana celebrities.
In a tweet, Wendy Shay fumed at the idea of Ghanaian alcoholic brands using Nigerian celebrities to help them in their commercials.
If you will recall, Wendy Shay was stopped from advertising or doing commercials for such brands by the FDA for the reason that these advertisements do have negative consequences on the young because they are role models.
She tweeted:
Now Gh companies are paying Naija celebs big money for endorsement I told Gh celebs to wake up but nobody minds me. If Gh no go wake up I wake up with FDA ..Great meeting, very educative..something big is coming to Ghana wake up !!!!

Whether the ban will be lifted or not will be determined in the fullness of time.
