Wendy Shay replies Ama K Abebrese

Wendy Shay has come out to reply actress Ama K Abebrese after she shaded celebrities who are fighting to be paid to serve as ambassadors for alcohol and betting companies.

In her words, she wrote:

Nigerian youths are fighting to #EndSARS #EndSWAT & end #PoliceBrutality for their Human Rights.

In Ghana, some celebrities are fighting to be paid to promote alcohol and sports betting to youths as a ‘Human Rights’ issue.

Everyone has a right to protest what matters to them.

Well, Wendy Shay is one of the celebrities pushing for the Gaming Commission and FDA to allow celebrities to serve as Ambassadors for these prohibited companies.

So apparently, she felt the shade from Ama K Abebrese is for her, so she has responded accordingly.

In a tweet, she wrote that banning celebrities from serving as brand ambassadors for betting and alcoholic companies is ‘career brutality’ so she has the right to protests against it.

Her tweet reads: “#EndSARS is PoliceBrutality. FDA and Gaming commission’CareerBrutality’, yes! everyone has the right to protest these ppl are killing the showbiz industry but a GH celeb will support ENdSARS and condem the FDA/Gaming comission protest. Such an Irony, hypocrites! Ghana wake up!”
