Alexander Norén, a professional golfer who debuted on the PGA Tour and the European Tour in 2012, was born on July 12th, 1982. The BMW PGA Championship, the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, the British Masters, the HNA Open de France, and the Nedbank Golf Challenge are just a few of the ten events on the European Tour that he has won. He was a member of the successful European Ryder Cup squad in 2018.
He scored 146 over 36 holes at Rya Golf Club to win the unofficial Swedish Youth Championship, the Föreningsbanken Cup, at the age of 14.
He enrolled in the Swedish upper secondary sports school when he was 15 years old in order to combine academics with golf instruction. Additionally, he worked at Svensk Golf, the official publication of the Swedish Golf Federation, as a junior editor.
On all levels, he competed for Sweden as an amateur. In 2002, at the Gdansk G&CC in Poland, he was a member of the Swedish team that won the European Youths’ Team Championship. [4][5] Additionally, he represented Sweden at the 2004 Eisenhower Trophy in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, where Norén tied for third place as an individual and the Swedish team won the bronze medal.
